The Mission Statement for Milliken Mills Public School is as follows:
"Milliken Mills Public School serves a diverse community and is committed to creating a positive learning environment that will encourage students to reach their full potential so that they may become independent and valuable members of the community."
History
Milliken Mills P.S. is named after the post office that was established nearby in 1858 and named Milliken after early settler Norman Milliken. The school site is located on the former Massey Ferguson Experimental Farm. It is adjacent to lovely Risebrough Park. Our school motto is "Together We're Better."
Facilities
Milliken Mills P.S. was officially opened in 1981. A sixteen room addition was placed on the original school in 2002. A before and after school child-care centre, owned and operated by High Birch Day Care is located at Milliken Mills P.S.
